Payroll Admin Assistant, Portsmouth, £10.20 per hour - Part Time - Working 12pm to 5pm - Monday to Friday (25 hrs per week)

Working for an independent engineering company to the North of Portsmouth, our client are looking for an experienced payroll admin assistant to join a small but growing team.

Overall Purpose of the job:
To assist in the smooth running of the Payroll function and carry out some administrative duties for the Accounts department.

Responsibilities:
- Process the weekly Payroll from start to finish.
- Reconcile Company Credit Card transactions.
- Enter supplier invoices on Sage Accounts.
- Send faxes and emails to internal and external customers.
- Enter journal on Sage Accounts.
- Handle petty cash for the Portsmouth Branch.
- Filing.
- Deal with incoming phone calls.
- Follow all company Health and Safety processes.
- Carry out any other reasonable request.

Skills Required:
- Experience in using Sage Payroll and a good working knowledge of Excel and Outlook.
- Well organised and methodical.
- A ‘can do’ attitude and a flexible approach to work.
- Able to work to a high degree of accuracy.

This role is 25 hours per week, worked between 12pm to 5pm Monday to Friday. The location is northern Portsmouth and offers free parking plus there is a train station nearby.

Commutable from Portsmouth, Waterlooville, Havant, Chichester, Petersfield, Fareham.
